Now more than ever before stats are proving that tons more people are getting online to do their personal and business dealings. The internet has grown into a mighty force that no one ever saw coming just a few short years ago.

The internet burst onto the scene in the 1990's and since has grown into a major informational source. It first was only available in North America, but now is world- wide. Wherever you reside, you can find out helpful information over the internet.

Even cell phones and all kinds of mobile devices offer the world-wide web to its users. Literally wherever you go in life, the internet is at your disposal ready to give you the info you need. Surprisingly more men use the internet than woman. Statistics show that nearly 14 percent of men find it difficult to stay offline more than 1 or 2 days in a row. Also nearly 6 percent of people admit they have had a relationship suffer because of their internet use.

Also if you go on the internet to find dates, stats show that you have much more of a chance of finding a mate on internet dating sites than social sites such as Facebook.

Internet Addiction

At least 6 percent of the world is addicted to the internet in some way or the other. It is a smart idea to limit yourself on the internet. Plan out the time you plan to spend on the net and stick with it. Even if you are using the internet for work or research purposes, limiting your use is your best bet.

If used wisely the internet can be a positive source of information and learning. Just like with anything else, you should use it in moderation. If it gets in the way of your personal relationships then it may be a good idea to cut back. But if you are utilizing the internet to make money it can be a very positive aspect of life.
