The Most Profitable Small Businesses Are the Easiest to Set Up
By Tom Parmer

You might not believe it but you can make money from nothing easily these days. In the last five or ten years the most profitable small businesses have been ones that cost almost nothing to get going. This is not to say that to be a success you don't have to work. It just means that you don't need to invest anything to get started.

So, what does it involve? Well, the most profitable small businesses sell products and services through the Internet. This significantly reduces overheads and so more of the money flowing in appears as profit on the balance sheet as much less is going out to cover the cost of overheads.

Overheads are the curse of the conventional business. If you have a shop or restaurant or office you have to pay overheads constantly. That means even if you don't have a single customer you still have to pay for your lighting and for your staff. And worst of all you have to pay rent. You have to pay someone who literally does nothing to earn that money and sits back and lets you do all the work.

Don't let this happen to you. Even if your idea is to sell your own crafts or niche products that you make yourself do it via an e-commerce store. You can get an e-commerce store front for nothing so you don't have to pay thousands in rent every month. You just need to list your products on your site and then get customers to come to see what you have got.

The value of each customer is then so much higher which translates into profit. With a real world business you have to shell out thousands even before one person has walked through your door. So you need to get thousands of people in your shop to make it pay. Online you can get the same number of people to look at your products for nothing.

And these days some of the most profitable small businesses online don't even sell their own products. They just sell other people's products and take a cut. This takes out the expense of having to research and design a product and bring it to market. They simply sell something that another company has developed and make money that way.

Building a profitable business is not a difficult thing these days. Technology has made it possible to set up a shop for nothing and reach thousands of potential customers for free. You couldn't do that a few years ago. You were limited by your finances and your geographical area. But now the playing field has been leveled and it's anyone's game.

Get a plans for one of the most profitable small businesses that you can start for nothing. Don't make the mistake of thinking you need to go to a bank manager with your complicate business plan and ask for a loan.

These days you can start to build one of the most profitable small businesses right now and be making money tomorrow. The only thing that will hold you back is your imagination.
