Amazon.com is a huge marketplace and opportunity for both vendors and affiliates to make money. And if you're wondering how to sell more on Amazon and are seriously looking for opportunities, use these 4 tips and you'll see a drastic improvement.

If you're an affiliate:

Tip #1: Try to sell whatever is selling most on Amazon. If you do a Google search for "Amazon best seller list", you'll find a link at the top of the page that will show you a list of the most popular and best selling items on Amazon at a present time. All you have to do is create blogs and websites and promote these hot items. It's really that simple. Although most Amazon commissions aren't really that high, aim for promoting high priced items for a better commission or if there aren't any, selling cheaper products does add up to big bucks.

If you're a vendor:

Tip #1: This tip is almost identical to the affiliate tip above, but applies to vendors and can yield greater profits. Find out which items are selling most on amazon using the above tip, buy those items wholesale, and sell them. If there is a popular DVD or book being sold on Amazon, you can do a search on Google for "Book name wholesale" and find plenty of vendors selling tons of those very same books for a cheaper price. This is how many top vendors who make a living doing this and businesses sell successfully on Amazon.

Tip #2: Price your items less than the competition. If you sell on Amazon, especially popular items, chances are you'll be competing against other vendors in a bidding war, and the one who prices their item/s less will show up higher on the list and be more favorable to sell. Therefore in order to beat the top vendor, you have to price your item/s less. But how far can you go before you price too little? The answer is 1 Penny. Believe it or not, 1 penny less will make 9 out of 10 people look at your item more. What seems cheaper? $299.99, or $300.00? I think we all know the answer!

Tip #3: Use an auto repricing tool. If you make it big on Amazon and start to sell 10, 50 or more items at the same time, you'll find it's almost impossible to keep track of each item and whose bidding less than you or more. In fact think about this for a second: Imagine you have 10 items being listed on Amazon and you can't keep track of all 10. Once you price 1 item less, you may encounter another item you posted gets outbid by someone, and as you adjust your price there, another person outbids another item.

The more you have to sell on Amazon, the more difficult this becomes. So what's the solution? An auto-repricing tool which basically a software program that collects all of your items and automatically bids less each time someone tries to outbid you.

Here's an example: You have 100 items being listed on Amazon.
